Hello Linux folkz,
I'm running XFree86 4.0.3 X server.
Somebody on this list posted that it's possible to open second X terminal
with lower color depth without restarting the main X server.
Could somebody please explain in details how to do this.
I need to run remote simulation from SUN workstation in 8bpp color depth and
in the same time I need to have default 24 bpp color depth X terminal for
another application that runs only in 24 bpp color depth mode.
Please share your experience on how to achieve this.
Thank you in advance.
