I just updated to stock kernel 2.4.3 (SMP, 1Gb mem, i686
optimization, home compiled) to find it less stable than
2.4:
Xserver (4.01) dies every once in a while, zombies hanging
around...
Any cue ? Is it a known issue ? Patches around (either SuSe
or...)
Also, it keeps asking for sound-service-0-0,
sound-service-0-3, sound-slot-0. What gives ? I've compiled
a driver as a module for my SB16 ISA but haven't tried to
configure it yet...
