Subject: [SLE] [KERNEL] Building a kernel for the first time
I'm building a kernel in SuSE 7.1 for the first time today. I
initially installed via FTP, so I don't have any CD's.
Where do I go to get the kernel source tree to install it? And if
there's any good online guide on how to install a kernel, I'd greatly
appreciate it. I'm using the guide from linuxnewbie.org at the
moment.
Also, is the kernel HOWTO on the Net somewhere? I'd prefer to read it
from a separate machine while working on the SuSE box.
Thanks.
