Hi, I am having trouble in finding a way to simply configure multiple providers ( ISPs ) for ISDN internet access. I have a USR Sportster internal which has been working ok for years. But my troubles are
I hate to say it but......... you just might have to consider upgrading to 7.1. If this problem has got to you so much (and I know about ISP reliability) I suggest that you go for it. Back up everything - re-install and lie back and enjoy ;)
Hi again... I cant get kinternet to work correctly, now it is upgraded, it seems to let you use multiple providers but what it does when configuring with yast2 is add new interfaces ( ippp0, ippp1, ippp2.... ) for each new provider I configure. IMHO either this is incorrect or it is not handled correctly later... When I try to call to lets say provider nº2 ( ippp1 ) or prov nº 3 ( ippp2 ) it fails ( since there is no ippp2 i guess ) but instead it calls to provider 1 and the i have to kill connection with isdnctrl since kinternet goes crazy ( using ippp0 for connections while 'thinking' it's managing ippp2 ??? ) So HOW did YOU get it to work ? Please ?? I have been downloading megs and megs and ranting and raving in the upgrade just for this ????? I cant believe it... --
