Does anybody knows how to configure onboard soundcard CMI8330? YaST2 find it and seemed to configure it, but there is no sound coming out.
First up, check your mixer settings in a mixer program of your choice. Audio channels are frequently muted after installation. If everything seems alright from there, you could also check using alsamixer (if you're using ALSA for sound). With alsamixer, 'm' mutes/unmutes a channel, and the arrow keys increase/decrease volume and switch channels. You may also want to check that you have sound modules loaded (do an 'lspci' as root and look for modules with 'sound' or 'snd' in them). For further advice, more detail may help.
