Hi Jon

	I sent this to the list yesterday

/etc/rc.config.d/idedma.rc.config

the problem was using an editor in kde corrupted the file. Ive restored
from a 6.4 version of rc.confin and all is well.
Im not at the Linux machine now but it was one of the standard editors
in K
