Yes.

Yes, but make sure you are using modutils-2.4.2. There is a RPM
available from SuSE.

There are no 2.4.3 kernel RPMs. If you want the latest, then you have to
compile it yourself. The kernel has a README file that provides a lot of
information regarding installation and troubleshooting.
