Hi Group: I want to upgrade my kernel from the current 2.2.16 to 2.4.3. I downloaded file "linux-2.4.3.tar.gz" from http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.4/ and I was wondering if someone could confirm the following: 1) is this the right file, 2) is this the only file I need to properly upgrade my kernel, and 3) would you recommend using an rpm (or some other kind of zipped format) because it will jive better with Suse 7.0?
