ext2fs, which is the filesystem on Linux hardisks [well, you can have
others, but this seems to be the most common!] sets a value on the
partition which states how many times it has been mounted [i.e. made
available for you to use]. There is a limit as to how many times this can
happen before it checks over the filesystem to make sure it is okay.
This is just informing you that a check of the partition has been forced
as the drive has reached the maximum times it can be mounted before it can
be checked =o)
