No, It just has one option linux, pointing to /boot/vmlinuz... and that seems to be 2.2.18 There is a vmlinuz_2.4_GB in /boot, but when I set up lilo manually with an extra entry pointing to that, it fails when trying to load the modules...
I had to change /etc/lilo.conf manually to make it boot 2.4.2 kernel. It wasn't enough just to install the package. Modules should be in place, the rpm installed them for me correctly. Check your /lib/modules directory. -Kastus

When I select the 2.4 kernel in yast, it seems to install it, reruns lilo... and I reboot, only to end up with the 2.2.18 again... I've tried this several times (even selecting 2.4 for i386 doesn't work).
Help?
Kind regards

Maybe you have 2.2.18 and 2.4.0 installed and that the default is set to 2.2.18. Do you have the option to choose what kernel to boot in the LILO prompt?
