I tried that and it works, but then I end up with a blank terminal window on my desktop. It's strange, never had this problem with 6.4. On Saturday 17 March 2001 01:10, you wrote:

Maybe try selecting the option to have it launch in a terminal?

I have SuSE 7.1, KDE 2.0.1, standard install with office. I installed shlibs5 and then WordPerfect8. When I create an icon for it by right-clicking on the Desktop, and then click on the newly made icon, nothing happens, WordPerfect doesn't start. All of my other Desktop icons work. If I type <path>xwp in a terminal, WordPerfect starts. The icon just doesn't work. Anybody out there seen this problem, or have a clue as to what's wrong?
Thanks, Jerry
