Lenz, since you mentioned Radeon's, can you confirm if the XFree in SuSE 7.1 supports 3D on the Radeon "out of the box"?
I'm not Lenz, but I can answer your question. The only distro that "out of the box" supports 3d accel (experimental) with the Radeon is the Mandrake 8.0 beta using the 2.42 kernel and XFree4.0.2 In SuSE 7.1 you get 3d but not with accel. Charles (-: Forever never goes beyond tomorrow.
