You need to put append="mem=192M" in lilo.conf and rerun lilo. This needs to be near the top. Matt On Tue, 27 Feb 2001, Peter Vertes wrote:
Hello All,
I'm having some trouble with SuSE 7.0. I've just installed it on a machine that has 192MB of memory (64 in slot 0 and 128 in slot 1) and for some reason Linux is only seeing 64MB. I'm still using the stock kernel that comes with 7.0. I'm also planning on upgrading to Kernel 2.4.2 later on this week but I would like to fix this problem first. Has anyone experienced this before ? Thanks in advance...
