Hello List, Just installed SuSE 7.1 over the weekend. Installation was great using the DVD. After setting the system up the way I wanted I tried to run squake (console version of quake1). To my suprise the system is not able to find the file squake inspite of the file being in the current directory. If is "ls squake" the file shows up but if I "./squake" the system responds with no file or directory. The program worked fine under SuSE 6.3. Thanks for any ideas Terry tleck@mindspring.com
I havn't installed Quake I on 7.1 myself ( Q3 keeps me busy ;) but I guess Q1 is a shlibs5 application. You probably want to install shlibs5-2000.1.17-7 If it still barfs on you, then run "ldd squake" - It should tell you what libs are missing. - -tosi -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.4 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE6nCgc6mRH+PEpr2YRAkZlAJ9Q9g7l1b85jqkpXxbrzDdq1GdxVACgobuV NWDQYUzbX6NrWUw4wgVDprI= =cXwr -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
