Hi Guys, (and gals) I thought you all would get a laugh out of this. I have a dual boot system (Windows on hdc and Linux on hdc3 ) Well, I was installing a new printer and tried to boot into windows first to install it there and get it over with. Well Windows crapped out saying that it couldn't find Himem.sys and it refused to run. So, I fired up Linux, got on line and found Himem.sys and booted back and copied it into that side of the harddrive. No problems after that. You might say Linux saved Windows that day ! (I use windows only for my midi apps : ) ) Btw - speaking of printers, in case your'e not aware of it, Lexmark printers has Some drivers for Linux on their web site (www.lexmark.com) (For their printers only, of course) They seem to work great. I just installed a Lexmark Z25 with that on-line driver. It work like a charm. See you around ! Dave -- È'@È'@Í+Q
