I used to use Red Hat. Now I won't even touch it. SuSE is much better engineered, and has higher quality. Also SuSE does not do stupid things with its distribution like including beta versions of system libraries and compilers.

I agree completely, I use RH at work and almost hate it, it's so messed up. SuSE just simply works. At home I only use SuSE

Isn't that funny. I mean I've so much trouble at home with SuSE and Gnome it's just incredible. Somehow I managed to sort these problems out and now SuSE is running just fine. In contrast at work I have RH 7.1 and never had any problem whatsoever with the installation or switching between Gnome and KDE and back again. The RH installations always work first time for me. Funny init? Also I think Mandrake 7.1 is quite solid too. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq ______________________________________________ FREE Personalized Email at Mail.com Sign up at http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup
