I notice Allchin says "We can build a better product than linux".
M$ has had years to build a better product and they just flat can't do it. M$ paint is nothing compared to GIMP or Xfig. Excell can't add but Gnumeric and Kspread work very well. The open source stuff rounds numbers correctly and it doesn't crash. The chief problem here is that not enough of the public has really been given a chance to use Linux. I'll tell you what it was like for me to transition from M$ to Linux. All my life I had particle board furniture and then one day I wandered into the Ethan Allen showroom. That's what it was like to discover Linux. -- Cheers, Jonathan
