Um, have you considered the position of one of the largest countryies
around, and how it is likely such sites would NOT be permitted there . (
govt controlls the pipe, as witness the floods of frantic email from a
fellow lister there last week ) Esp if "security" stuff includes, as we
have heard , the encryption stuff ...

The biggest pita , for me, was all the companies that got togetehr w/
teh Big entertainment industries to create "zones" which often means I
cant get the latest "hong Kong Beatemup" or even a video game in another
language unless I also happen to have a "foriegn" console as well. Void
your warrenty, w/ "illegal" added chips or buy teh same console in two
different versions would have been around $900 To do that w/ playstation
2 .. I dont watch movies on my computers, or play gaems either, but one
can certainly see problems arising , even from "member" ftp ( not to
mention, How long would it take teh kiddies to crash teh party let alone
the site ????
