I would appreciate it if this whole topic would die RSN.
Layoffs and downsizing happen all the time. And many companies who do
it, handle it badly.
Yeah, it's a bummer, but life goes on.
So can we carry on with technical discussions, and stop crying? The
patient is dead. Let him rest in peace.
