I would like to compile my own kernel. SuSE comes with a few already compiled kernels and I would like to use their configuration map for compiling my own kernel. In other words; I don't know what all the options are. SuSE does. I would like to make a couple of modifications to the kernel I currently run and would like a file to "Load Configuration from File" when running "make xconfig". Does anyone know if these files exist or how I might make them? I am currently running SuSE 7.0, Kernel 2.2, precopiled kernel "Kernel with APM-support" Thanks for your help, Dannie -- Dannie M Stanley SpinWeb Net Designs, Inc. http://www.spinweb.net "Three people can take efficient care of a unix system as long as two of them are dead" - Unknown HP-UX mailing list member
