I like you make so that sendmail sent me a mail without trying to resolve a ip to name. I connect me to internet from my PC could send mails without problems using my local smtp. some times have me to connect to a net via tel to a company, there they have a mail pop mounted in NT, I connect me well with linux, but when I try to send a mail I got hold of user@ 58.56.2.1 the sendmail tells me nslookup failed, t could not send the mail, neither if want to arrive to touch the doors of the pop 58.56.2.1, in order to send messages I have that change my client configuration of mail and be sent it direct to the smtp 58.56.2.1. does posfix manage better that, or any another agent? thank you for any aid A Figueroa
