Hello,
Just before I lost my typing ability for logging into SuSE I was able to
configure My new AIW Radeon card, but that is a different story.
If I remember right I used xf86config and chose #45 for the card, I forget
the name but it was more of a generic ATI card like AIW SVGA or something.
After the set up I was able to use the new version of SAX2 and when I got
to the card it showed ATI Rage Pro, I think, and using the properties I was
able to go in and tell SAX2 that the card was a Radeon. After that I was
able to login to a GUI without any problems.
Please be aware that I am still a newbee and that I may have just lucked
out. :-)
Good Luck,
James Ruhsam
