If somewhere there was documentation for what Yast was doing ( ie which files it was altering ) it would be a fantastic teaching device.
One day i installed Mandrake7.2 on a spare machine and stumbled around trying to work out how to telnet into the box from another one. ( dont tell me what i should do, i wiped it and put Suse on it )
This could be a way of fast tracking peoples knowledge.
