Hi,
I am using pine on SuSE Linux 7.0 Pro to access my pop3 mail account. I
can read my mails fine from the pop3 server.
I would like my pop3 email address to be used in the 'from address' on
all mails sent using pine (obviously so people can then reply to my pop3
account).
I have managed to change my name in the From field (the receiver sees
this correctly), but I can't see how to insert my pop3 address.
Currently the receiver gets the following line in my emails:
From: Garry Smith <Garry@YAST_ASK>
I can see how to set the domain part of the mail address, but my pop3
address before the @ is different from my username on the Linux box..
Does anybody have any ideas?
Many thanks in advance
regards
Garry
