My experience has been that there is nothing yet available for Linux which can match the ease of use of Front Page or Dreamweaver. I am stuck using windows my my web development. My advice would be to stay away from Front Page and buy Macromedia's Dreamweaver. There are some HTML editors for Linux like Coffee Cup HTML etc... but like I said above, they do not offer the wysiwig environment that Dreamweaver does. -----Original Message----- From: Damon Register [mailto:damon.w.register@lmco.com] Sent: Monday, January 08, 2001 10:06 AM Cc: suse-linux-e@suse.com Subject: [SLE] HTML editors My boss just said that he wants to order M$ Front Page so someone in our department can create web pages for our group. I would like very much to get away from M$ and since Front Page is just one more way to get locked into M$, I want to suggest something in the Linux world. Can anyone suggest Linux software for creating/editing web pages? I remember a similar thread last year but don't remember much about it since at that time I wasn't interested in web pages. Please help me convince my boss to use SuSE linux instead of M$ Windoze.
