Hi,
I would like to resize the / partition which is a reiserfs. The documentation
is not very clear (at least for me) on this topic.
This is the output of fdisk:
Disk /dev/hda: 255 heads, 63 sectors, 1245 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1 * 1 1245 10000431 5 Extended
/dev/hda5 1 13 104359+ 83 Linux
/dev/hda6 14 39 208813+ 83 Linux
/dev/hda7 40 52 104391 83 Linux
/dev/hda8 53 180 1028128+ 83 Linux
/dev/hda9 181 189 72261 82 Linux swap
/dev/hda10 190 1082 7172991 83 Linux
And this is the output of df:
Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda5 104344 91904 12440 88% /
/dev/hda7 104376 58820 45556 56% /tmp
/dev/hda6 208788 76396 132392 37% /var
/dev/hda10 7172736 4597692 2575044 64% /usr
/dev/hda8 1028092 564036 464056 55% /home
All the partitions are physical partition not logical partition (should I have
used LVM?) and use the reiserfs.
How can I increase the / partition of let's say 80M?
Maurizio
