carl-
in fact i have been booting from distro cds. i am currently researching
the correct lilo command to speed up that process. however, i would like
to have something equivalent to a recovery floppy on cd. i use flops so
seldom that i don't really trust them. i live in a rain forest and any
machine that isn't used regularly succumbs to rust and fungus. my cd
drives get used daily.
thanks-
larry
