Yes, one of our customers, a large Medical Insurance company here in
California runs SuSE on VA boxes which are quite standard HW, very similar
to Intel OEM boxes. Most of these units have Intel based NIC's and VA uses
Mylex RAID. While it may be so that the BIOS could be changed, this is
probably in refrence to the management port and features for VACUM. I have
also had servers in a cluster from VA with Polyserve (at Comdex and LWE
San Jose) In short I would not expect you to have difficulty running SuSE
on VA HW.
