Hi all...
Here's the deal, I on "Poky" my smallist system. I want to run "mc" which is on "CW". So I mount CW by NFS then try to run mc. But I get permission denied. How do I tell CW that Poky has full access to the files.
------------ Here's what happened:
Poky:~ # mount /CW/ Poky:~ # cd /CW/usr/bin Poky:/CW/usr/bin # ./mc bash: ./mc: Permission denied Poky:/CW/usr/bin # -------------------------
Well, can you run other programs off of your NFS mount? How is the export mounted? Do you have the same UID on both machines? How about an ls -l on the files? Greg
