A few days ago, I attempted to set up an ICQ account using kicq. I managed to get the panel running, but when trying to connect, kicq failed. It is to be noted that I've set up a firewall and masquerading, so I reckon that this is why the connection fails.
There is a kernel module to allow ICQ connections through Masquerading, and you can get it from: http://djsf.tripod.com/masq-icq/ <p>James -- James Ogley, Network Manager, SuSE Linux Ltd - +44 (0) 20 8 387 4088 @ Work: ogley@suse.co.uk http://www.suse.co.uk @ Home: james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk @ Mobile: riggwelter@sms.genie.co.uk ICQ: 57374251 Slashdot: riggwelter (84180) asylum-mud.org: Riggwelter "I lift up my eyes to the hills, from where does my help come?"
