Michel,
Well, because 6.4 came out in the states April 11th and we didn't
see another upgrade until Sept. 15th (7 months) and it will most
likely be another few months for the next release I don't think 7-9
months between releases is often. You can always order the upgrade
edition which is a lower cost then the full-blown Pro edition. We
really can't make sure people don't wait 4 or 5 of the 7 months
before they buy an edition..I got caught in that myself. Before I
worked here I bought 5.0 and then saw the next version about 3 weeks
later..boy was I pissed..but thems the breaks ;) I understand your
concern..so I would suggest just enjoying 7.0 for now and buying a
new release when you feel you need it. If 7.1 is just something you
must have then buy the upgrade...from what I have seen it's going to
be very cool...and I don't say that because I work for SuSE..I say
that cause I am a geek and I love cool new stuff just like anyone
else. :)
