SuSE, I've just downloaded the KDE 2.0.1 bug fixes on the SuSE ftp site.
I had previously downloaded and compiled QtFree 2.2.2 from the TollTech site. It includes the designer, etc, and was compiled dynamic. I also turned on the graphics switches for jpg, png, mng and gif, which were NOT in the the previous SuSE KDE2 install, rendering Konqueror and several other graphic apps unable to display jpg and other formats.
What specifically didn't display? I'm really curious because I have no problems with .jpg files, and also have used .gif, png, and a couple of others. I used the original files from SuSE, and installed with yast. I use both kuickshow and konq to show the files..
Specifically, jpg and png graphics. I decided to remove KDE1 and QT-1.x totally from my system, and remove any software that requires BOTH Qt-1.x and Qt-2.x or any KDE2 apps that require KDE1 libs, etc. So, I removed both KDE1 and Qt-x from my system, downloaded and compiled Qt-2.2.1 and installed KDE2 from the SuSE ftp. That is when I noticed that Slashdot didin't show all the graphics, and Imageview refuseds too.
