Well, you gave me enough hope that I d'led plugger.rpm from Suse (25K file),
applied it and now I am back to Bus error.

I changed permissions on /tmp/ndebug to 660 (it did get written, even with the
new plugger).

Maybe you could give me the URL for the correctly compiled plugger; I may have
gotten the one that they were putting on the CD. Seems like it had an April,
2000 date stamp.
