Hmmm, much bizarness that one is. I set mine up according to the directions
and it mounts right up. Fstab file has something to the effect of:
"machine:/sharename /mountpoint nfs defaults 0 0" Or ya can mount from
the command line "mount -t nfs machine:/sharename /mountpoint" and it'll
hook right up. Or at least it should. All this, of course, is predicated
on the fact that the exports are set up correctly on the host machine. I've
never had it not work.

Subject: [SLE] Automounter
<p>Hello
Is anyone here using the autofs module?
I tried it, and it works for cdroms etc, but not for nfs shares.
And I just needed those actually...
A program I use requires that all its data is accessible via a global
path: /net/<server>/<path>
Thanks for any help!
Kind regards
Guy
