hello from spain somebody has installed SUSE on a laptop ACER 200T.???
According to http://www.acersupport.com/notebook/html/tm200t_specs.html It looks like your biggest problem may be with the Cirrus Logic CS4299 sound chip. It is not specifically listed in either the sound howto or the ALSA sound mini howto but it might work with a driver for a similiar chip. Perhaps someone else has experience with it. The internal modem is a lucent model and should work with the driver module found here http://www.linmodems.org/linux568.zip I don't see why the O2Micro OZ6933 pcmcia controller wouldn't work as it is Intel 82365sl compatible. Same for the ATI rage mobility, it uses the mach64 driver for XFree86. Here is a list of resources to get you started. http://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/kharker/linux-laptop/ (look for a model with similiar specs here first) http://mobilix.org/ http://www.alsa-project.org/ http://pcmcia-cs.sourceforge.net/ http://linuxdoc.org/docs.html#howto Good luck, if you get it going good you might want to set up a web page describing your experience and submit a link to kharker's site to help others who might be interested.
