Simple :-)

For example, I tried my univerities web server:

IP: 130.208.165.8 -> http://2194711816

130 * 256^3 -> 2181038080
208 * 256^2 -> 13631488
165 * 256^1 -> 42240
8 * 256^0 -> 8
-----------
Sum: 2194711816

This is actually the correct INET: identifier ( 32 bit number ) for
this IP address. Thus, translating the IP to this number, or using
this number directly should give the same result.
