Hi Matthew,
I think you might have somethin' here. When it all worked before, I was using
.net as the domain for all the machines. My ISP is navix.net. More than
coincidence? I just recently changed them all to .home. Time to change back,
I suppose. Looks like my last option.
DSL, huh? My choice-of-one ISP, uses string and tin cans.....and
very expensive tin cans at that! They think Linux is some brand of facial
tissue.
Thanks for the info.

Put the domain on the gateway machine to that of the ISP's domain. Host can

important part.
The winblows machines use the gateway address, which you got right, also they
should have there own unique host on the same domain.
Got it work to work through DSL and its sweet. Just wish the primary
nameserver would work though.
