ProFTP - can't upload to non-user folders

Subject: ProFTP - can't upload to non-user folders

Using ProFTP, I am unable to upload to any folders but my home directory.
I'm getting an error (something like) "No port was specified". I'm sure it's
something in the config file but after looking, didn't see anything. I'm
connecting fine and can upload to my home but nowhere else... Anybody?
