I have successfully installed kde2. The weird thing is that xmms always crashes, while it just works with kde. Anybody found a solution to this problem?
Define "crashes". Do you get an error message, if you start it from an xterm?

I press Alt+F2 and write "xmms" It pops up good... but when I try to listen to any mp3 it freezes. On xmms page I have found that there is a "syncronization buffer" problem with xmms and kde2. I have downloaded the source of the plugin which claims to be the solution to my prob, but I cant compile it because when I run ./configure it says it does not find xmms.
It is probably looking for the xmms-config script. This script is part of the development package. This script returns things like linking arguments, and include directories.
I have specified the path of xmms with the correct option (as it's written in the README).
Any idea?
