Well when my new SCSI drive arrived I went back to SuSE 6.3. With the doubling of the price for 7 and the comments on the newsgroups I was thinking of installing the Corel 2 or Caldera 2.4 that are sitting on my shelf. But I wnt back to the one I know. I added rp-ppoe and fired it up Dave Skoll did a great job and the connection was simpler than it was from the ISP! I then went to do a FTP update to patch up the stuff from 6.3. It seems to have downloaded a bunch of stuff then said I had yast 1.03 and couldn't update to 1.05 unless I rebooted with the boot disk. If I do this, will I have to remount the drives or will yast find things? Does the FTP update bring me upto the level of release 7? I haven't received a LUG pack since release 6.3. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
