Take your standard boot/install Suse floppy. Boot it. In the YAST menu where one of the selections is "boot installed system", have it boot your installed system. When your installed system is finished loading, as root, run "lilo". Pull floppy; reboot. You should now have a happy mbr. Cheers, Kevin On Mon, 16 Oct 2000 15:37:57 +0100, Francesco Scaglioni wrote:
Hi,
I have a small windows partition on my laptop (childrens games when away). I need to do something to it and feel sure windows will overwrite the mbr. Please would someone be so kinds as to remind me what I have to do to get it back and hence a functioning lilo again.
Many thanks
Francesco
