Hi, 7.0 installation ISO image is not on FTP server yet. I used "Install from FTP server" option in yast after I booted with the bootdisk. In this mode, the FTP connection replaces the CD and you pull all the files over the wire. Hope this makes things clearer. Cheers, Nadeem Daniel Casey wrote:

You have to boot with the boot disk (or CD) that came with older version of SuSE. If you don't have it, get the image from the ftp site make a disk. You cannot upgrade with a running system.
