If my memory serves me well, the AsusCom Internal ISDN Adapter was difficult to set up in SuSE 6.3. There are no problems whatever with 6.4 and 7.0. During a clean installation Yast-2 will prompt you to set up such an adapter. All you may need is to set up the two nameservers that your ISP provides using Yast-1. Yast-2 autodetects internal adapters very well. I have little experience with firewalls in Linux - as yet.
