Hello Linux folkz,
When I try to run my HP-UX precess applications remotely
I do:
telnet applserver
export DISPLAY=linuxbox_IP:0.0
startapplication &
Application starts but I'm getting these messages:
Warning: cannot allocate colormap entry for "#347256"
Warning: cannot allocate colormap entry for "#aflc2c"
Warning: cannot allocate colormap entry for "#4359b8"
Warning: cannot allocate colormap entry for "#4848bd"
Warning: cannot allocate colormap entry for "#4f6497"
Warning: cannot allocate colormap entry for "#5383dc"
What is really interesting that one Linux box (runs SuSE 6.4 XFree86
v. 3.3.6) starts this application without any problem or warnings but
another Linux box (runs SuSE 7.0 Pro XF86 v. 3.3.6) is giving these
messages. They both have an identical configuration and nearly
identical /etc/XF86Config files.
Could somebody tell me please where and what should I check on the
second Linux box to fix this issue.
Thanks in advance.
Alex
