I rebuilt my machine last night and during installation 7.0 I specified 1280x1080 (or whatever the measurements were, it was the finer resolution - I have a 21' monitor) and it tested and I was able to see the better resolution. Then when it finished installing I booted up and went went into X I got my resolution at 640x480 with the screen set to 1280x1000 (You know how when you move the mouse to the side of the screen it scrolls it) Ugh, I hate that. This has happened before and I always forget what .inf/.rc/.conf file has the setting for this. Please point me in the right direction. Also, when I used 6.4 I added another user using standard unix 'adduser' command ... however I noticed it didn't create a home directory and copy all X settings into it.
