Dear all, I have a TOSHIBA 4000CDS with a ToPIC97 rev5 pcmcia controller and I am having troubles getting the pcmcia to work. As I load the module pcmcia_core with "modprobe pcmcia_core" I get the following message in my /var/log/messages file: Linux PCMCIA Card Services 3.1.21 kernel build: 2.2.17 #1 Sun Oct 8 12:08:47 GMT 2000 options: [pci] [cardbus] [apm] [pnp] PCI routing table version 1.0 at 0xf1330 PnP: PNP BIOS installation structure at 0xc00fed00 PNP BIOS version 1.0, entry at f0000:92c6, dseg at 0 which seems fine. However when I load the i82365 module with "modprobe i82365" I get the following lines: Intel PCIC probe: Bad bridge mapping at 0x68001000! Toshiba ToPIC97 rev 05 PCI-to-CardBus at slot 00:02, mem 0x68000000 host opts [0]: [slot 0xf0] [ccr 0x10] [cdr 0x86] [rcr 0x02] [pci irq 11] [lat 168/176] [bus 20/20] ISA irqs (default) = 3,5 PCI status changes What does the error mean and how do I correct it? -- =========================================================== | | | Miguel Afonso Oliveira | | | | Condensed Matter Theory Group | | Blackett Laboratory | | Imperial College | | Prince Consort Road Phone: + 44 2075947615 | | London SW7 2BZ + 44 7974849653 | | United Kingdom Email: m.a.oliveira@ic.ac.uk | | | =========================================================== -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
