I installed 7.0 (default with Staroffice) yesterday and have been having some intermittent problems. Suse 6.4 was installed on the hardware before and had no problems but now the system hangs occasionally during bootup while starting httpd. I've reinstalled the system and have the same problems. The only peculiar thing I can find is that when I do a df I find that usbdefs is 100% used (about 1.4G nodes no less!). I don't remember seeing this under 6.4 so I'm wondering if there might be an issue here. Note that I do not use USB although the motherboard does support it and USB appears to be detected correctly at bootup (examining boot.msg). Something else that seems suspicious is there is a /var/lock/subsys/usb.failed file that contains the line: USB_HCI TIA, Patrick Hays -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
