Sounds to me like the app in question only runs in 8-bit mode? What are your colour resolution settings on the local client? On Tuesday, October 03, 2000 4:33 AM, Alex Daniloff [SMTP:alex@daniloff.com] wrote:
Hello Linux folkz, May be somebody on the list is working with Cadence design tool on UNIX. In this case your help will be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to run Cadence remotely on Linux box. I do xhost +cadenceapplic.server telnet to Cadence application server export DISPLAY=myhost_IP:0.0 I type icfb in command prompt and getting this message: *WARNING* Atr: Failed to find 8-plane PseudoColor visual. Could somebody tell me please what should I fix to run Cadence remotely on Linux. Thanks in advance. Alex
