You could always wet up samba/smb to serve her all applications and even Windoze!! Thinking about it, there is no real reason why you couldn't setup samba to serve her linux (as well)!! NE2000 PCI works well. Connect using standard net functions. e.g. net add z: \\name\share... or something similar See http://www.samba.org and SMB-HOWTO Bruce.
