I have a simple problem. I am trying to compile PHP with DB2 support. I have everything I need installed. The problem is that the linker cannot find the db2 library. What is the best way to make the path known? I was thinking that I could set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH, or something like that.
Sam
Put the path to the libs into the file /etc/ld.so.cache and do a ldconfig as root. Should suffice.
